Dante's Dream wins Support Contest of 1fourFive and are touring Germany in May

Thank You fourFive! The music label situated in Berlin prepares a tour for their alternative bands FORCED MOVEMENT and Leonard Las Vegas. The tour covers all major German cities and Amsterdam in the Netherlands. A local hero of each stop of the tour should have support the bands. Music groups all over Germany could apply for their home town - and our dream seemingly charmed the organizers pretty much: the took us right away for the whole tour ;) Thats a 10 gig tour with 2.800 kilometers on the road. And you remember our little green rickety tour-bus? Phew... Anyway, that's the way of it and we are thrilled to get started! Check out the calendar for the exact dates!

We proudly annouce, Dante's Dream made the 3rd Place in the Website-Contest of 4fame. The jury (e.g. Juliane Block, film director) pointed out the "intense creativity" of the concept of our site. Thanks for that! Check out the article here

Intense gig impressions & focussing on finishing CD-Debut

Step by step we're working on the concept of how to present our music to our audience. Last saturday at the Halle 5-gig our fans got some first impressions how this idea could look like in the days and months to come. We had the chance to present our musical spectrum from pure pop songs to pending "dreamer songs", accompanied by great light and video effects made by the guys from "Funkstrom". In addition, the last song "Methusalem" added his tunes and atmosphere to an animation video by Daniel Dwyer (Academy of fine arts, Muenster), which was quite an intense combination. All in all, it's still and always work in progress - and we enjoy it pretty much. What's next? We'll focus on finishing our Debut-CD until May this year and certainly will provide you with some other surprises. So stay dante-tuned. ;-)

about to finish studio recordings for CD "Episodes"

Prior to our recording sessions in October, we already spent 2 weeks of recording at "Kick the Flame"-studio in May. And guess what: finally there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel. Some vocal recordings still need to be done as well as sessions with guest musicians, before we start mix and mastering. But there will be no more anouncements on when the CD will be published 'cause you never know what happens on the way to the release. But as soon as we know the definite release date you'll be the first to know.

Facing further studio recordings and gigs

We spent 2 weeks in May on recording our CD. And since we concentrated on perfection as good as possible, we needed the whole two weeks for 4 songs. That's why we will revisit the "Kick the Flame"-Studios again in November to record the 2nd half of the CD.

Furthermore we are looking forward to some exciting gigs in July. First we will hit the stage at Kaiserkeller (Hamburg) on July 14th, a legendary club where The Beatles used to play before getting famous at Star Club. Secondly we'll be participating at the StuRakete band contest in Leipzig on July 25th. Great thing!
